RMI has further added to its services with the addition of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit made functional on 29th March 2004. The Unit is fully equipped with advanced equipment and experienced Consultants available round the clock to provide emergent care when required to the patients.

The Gynaecology patients are operated upon in the well reputed Operation Theatre of RMI, while the Obstetrics patients will be managed in the newly set up Labour Room in RMI. It is noteworthy to mention here that patients with a ‘positive viral profile’ will be managed in a separate Labour Room. Newborn babies will have specialized Neonatologist cover in a fully equipped nursery.
