RMI : Facilities > Intensive Care Unit

Rehman Medical Institute has 2 Intensive Care Units, each with 10 beds. At present only one Intensive Care Unit attached to the 4 Operation Theatres is functional. The other ICU along with the 4 OTs will also be equipped in the very near future.

The ICU is fully equipped with a computerized Ventilator, 5 Channel Monitors, Central Oxygen Supply and Suction Units with one mobile X-Ray . this ICU is taking care of all the critically ill post – operative General surgical cases, Neuro Surgery cases and Open Heart procedures; both paediatric and adult.

The ICU is staffed by resident Anaesthetists, Surgeons, well trained Nurses, Technicians and Physiotherapists. The professional excellence, commitment and dedication of the ICU staff distinguish them from others.
