Dr. Momin Salahuddin graduated from Khyber Medical College with honour having achieved merit scholarship in all his professional examinations.
After completing house jobs in medicine and surgery, from Khyber Teaching Hospital, he proceeded to United Kingdom in 2001 where he passed MRCP-1 and was selected by the Royal College of Physicians for higher training in UK. This culminated in achieving the membership of the Royal College Physicians UK in 2004.
Dr. Momin Salahuddin had opportunity to work in various hospitals through out UK where he gained valuable clinical, teaching and administrative experience. On completion of his training he joined the Russells Hall Hospital, Birmingham as a Registrar in Cardiology in 2004. During his stay in Westmidlands he was attached with the University Hospital Birmingham for invasive cardiology. Later he moved south where he got excellent training opportunity, having invasive cardiology experience in one of Uk's leading cardiology center, St. George's Hospital, London. After staying there for more than a year Dr. Momin Salahuddin got an opportunity to further brush up his interventional cardiology skills in Glenfield Hospital, Leicester which again is a tertiary level hospital dedicated to cardiology.
Dr. Momin Salahuddin is certified by the European Resuscitation Council in Advanced Life Support (ALS). In addition he has Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations Certificate allowing him to safely practice radiation related procedures.In addition Dr. Momin Salahuddin is a member of British Society of Echocardiography and Pakistan Cardiac Society.
He as attended numerious seminars and courses including, London Echocardiography, Hypertension, Coronary Heart Disease, Primary Prevention CHD.
Dr. Momin Salahuddin's field of interest in Interventional Cardiology. In addition he is trained and experienced in implanting various types of Pacemakers.
